Family Owned & Operated Since 1940
Canney’s Water Solutions
Canney’s Water Solutions is part of a family-owned and operated company that has been doing business since 1940. The siblings in the management team are third generation water treatment professionals, with an additional staff of 20. The team consists of fully trained, professional, residential and commercial sales people, installers, service repair personnel, delivery drivers and customer service representatives.
Solving the water problems for the residential and commercial markets is the true purpose of our business. The water treatment industry has made huge strides in perfecting equipment for specific problems, along with the standard water softening equipment. Softening the water, removing the iron, elimination of organics and nitrates, high-quality drinking water, salt delivery, repair service and filtration for water is the focus of the residential side of the business.
The commercial side is devoted to larger applications such as water treatment for hotels, motels, schools, apartment complexes, and manufacturing facilities. The equipment mix varies from water softener units and filters to reverse osmosis units and ultra high-quality de-ionized water systems. Salt delivery for water softeners and ice control has become a very large part of the business. Salt can be delivered by the bag, ton, or truckload.
What WE Do
Solving water problems for the residential and commercial markets is the true purpose of our business.
Whole Home Systems
The water in your home may have several issues that need to be corrected, from hardness (mineral deposits) and turbidity (suspended dirt) to bad tastes and smells (chlorine odor). Your water may also contain things you can’t even see, such as nitrates or other potentially harmful contaminants. If your water looks, tastes or smells bad, remedying the water at each tap as well as providing the best, purest drinking water is the answer.
Drinking Water Systems
The quality of your home’s drinking water may meet local standards, but it might not meet your own. Ordinary tap water can contain dissolved metals, including lead and iron. It might contain nitrates, chlorine and mineral salts. Your tap water could also contain other undesirable substances such as sulfates, mercury, asbestos and arsenic.
Problem Water Filters
Whether your water comes from a private well or a municipal water supply, one thing is clear, the water in every home is unique. Older pipes, a water main break, and even the distance your water travels before it reaches your home can introduce additional contaminants into the water you consume. A water test is necessary to learn if your home’s water has some additional issues that need treatment.
When you take a shower, do you smell chlorine or a “pool-like” smell? Have you learned that your local municipality uses chlorine or chloramines to treat your water supply, and you would be more comfortable if you could remove the chlorine from the water before it comes out of your taps for your family’s bathing, cooking and drinking?
