NELSON A10 Air Injection Oxidizing Filter System
The Nelsen AIO® Air Injection Oxidizing Filter System, as a single tank system, is an efficient and cost effective system for the removal of Iron and Sulphur. The Nelsen AIO® maintains an “air pocket” in the top of the tank while the system is in service. As the water passes thru the air pocket, Iron and Sulphur are oxidized. Additionally, dissolved oxygen is added to the water. The Nelsen AIO® filter media bed then removes the Iron and Sulphur from the water.

Control Flow Technology
The Nelsen Water Solutions AIO® features a unique patented process. Most systems purge the air pocket in the tank violently during the regeneration process, potentially damaging plumbing and creating excessive noise. Our patented process slowly releases the air pocket during regeneration before replenishing the tank with a fresh pocket of air. Additionally, our system will delay the regeneration process and air release if water is used in the home or business. Once the water flow stops, the regeneration process begins slowly releasing the air from the system. In some competitive systems, water use will prevent the release of air due to the internal design limitations of the control valve or violently release the air once the water flow stops. The systems include a bypass valve, a Structural mineral tank, and all necessary media and support beds for individual application.
FILTER-SORB SP3 Anti-Scaling Systems
Nelsen Scale Prevention Systems features Filtersorb SP3 filter media to first remove the already existing scale from pipes and heat exchanger surfaces (descaling effect) and further to protect the system from future formation of scale (scale protection effect).
Filtersorb SP3 is based on a completely new technology. In this process the chemical structure of scale forming minerals is changed. This technology is so effective that it requires a contact time of only seconds.
The media is used in an up flow system, therefore only an in-out head is needed. The media transforms the dissolved calcium carbonate (temporary hardness) into non-charged, neutral chemical bonds.
